Bible Study

Through Bible study, participants gain insights and grow in their confidence with God’s Word as they discuss Bible passages in a small group setting.  Ensuing discussions help participants apply the timeless truths of the Bible to their daily lives.

Journeying with ‘Memento Mori’ (Remember your Death)

Lent is a time of reflection and penitential choices.  It’s meant to be a time to die to oneself – to give up bad choices and/or habits that lead us away from God.  ‘Memento Mori’ brings to the forefront the sobering reality that we are all going to die.  Most people try to ignore their impending death or assume it is far in the future. However, ignoring death will not make it go away.

Lent is a time when we remember the death of Christ and the sacrifice He made to give us eternal life. This devotional will help you to meditate on your own mortality and the incredible gift of salvation in preparation for Easter.
