Welcome

A message from the pastor

Welcome to our website and I would also love the opportunity to personally welcome you to our beautiful church!   Of course, I’m not talking about our red brick building with its’ white steeple that reaches high above mature oak trees.   Our church is a community of saints and sinners who are being nourished by God’s Word and strengthened by the Holy Eucharist!   Come pray with us anytime at St. Peter’s!

We look forward to meeting you!
Msgr. Joe

Lenten banks were distributed during Ash Wednesday Masses.  If you didn’t pick one up, please ask an usher or stop by the office.  This year’s Lenten tithe will support the Justice Development & Peace Commission (JDPC).  You may recall meeting Fr Joseph Bature, the head of this commission, when he visited St. Peter’s several years ago.  To learn more about his important work and view his video, visit the Events page.

Start a new Lenten tradition!  Join your fellow parishioners at a Soup Supper, hosted by the Knights of Columbus, every Friday during Lent at 6pm.  Afterwards, move upstairs to the Church as we pray the Stations of the Cross at 7pm.  Confessions will also be heard during the duration of the Stations.

A new Lenten study, ‘Memento Mori’ (Remember your Death) begins on Wednesday, March 1 at 6pm via Zoom.  This devotional will help you to meditate on your own mortality and the incredible gift of salvation in preparation for Easter.
